Building Inspections

First, we distribute a homeowner survey, receive, and compile the results. This allows us to document owner identified damages, or possibly unresolved problems reported to the builder. The survey responses also help us pinpoint deficiencies in the construction and in many cases serves as an indicator of common problems.

Second, qualified experts are available to perform specialized inspections, including:

  • Construction Defects
  • Stucco
  • Exterior Insulation & Finish System (EIFS)
  • Building Condition Assessment
  • Component Assessment
  • Water Intrusion Investigation
  • Coating System Failures
  • Due Diligence Reporting
  • Maintenance Inspections

The third step is to provide remediation consultation to the Board. We recommend appropriate Board action depending on the survey results and inspection of the property.

“In early 2007 we knew our 32 buildings were in terrible shape. We were a newly elected board and we knew we were going to have to start dealing with our problems right away. The first thing we did was interview consultants and construction managers. Bach & Associates was our unanimous choice because they were the only company that told us how they could help with everything from beginning to end. They lived up to their promises in every way: from helping us select excellent architects & engineers to recognizing that we had a potential insurance claim and then helping the law firm they recommended pursue what was ultimately a one million plus settlement.”
