Aspens Townhomes Construction Defect Remediation Project The project entailed removal and replacement of Hardiplank siding, structural repairs, window replacement, deck restoration and waterproofing coatings, exterior painting, drainage, and re-landscaping. This was a challenging project because the amount of settlement received to repair the construction defects was not adequate. The Association was faced with a special assessment to complete the work. Bach Associates was retained early on to control the budget. With our sound guidance and professional construction management, the project was completed several months ahead of schedule and with minimal financial impact to individual homeowners. We were able to keep construction within the original budget, found opportunities to reduce cost in areas the association didn’t see possible, and negotiated in small extras.
